Nick Millican: Renting Rooms in London Are Cheaper Some Places than Others
According to real estate expert Nick Millican, some areas of London are a bit cheaper when you want to rent a room over others. As rent rates go up in virtually every borough within the city of London, there are a few people who can only afford to rent a room out of a house.
This, rather than to rent an apartment or house of their own or for their family, as Nick Millican keeps on explaining. He says that this has led to many people getting roommates and cohabitating just to make ends meet. Other people who own homes are finding their bills increasing and have to offer rooms up in their home for others to use just to be able to pay their mortgage.
Also, their monthly expenses without going further into debt. Some boroughs are seeing the average room rent for about 1,000 pounds a month, while some other areas are finding more “reasonably priced” rooms for rent in some boroughs. As Nick Millican suggests, if you are looking for some of the most reasonable room rates in the London area, you might look in boroughs.
These, such as the Upper and Lower areas of the Arlington district or both Upper and Lower Edmonton districts, which also still seem reasonable and affordable. Many of these great rental rates are lower than 775 pounds per month (Facebook).
In addition, they are close to great attractions like highly-rated schools, office buildings, industrial centers, high-paying jobs, local parks, shopping centers, a variety of restaurants and much more. As real estate expert Nick Millican finally states, knowing where you want to look for a home is half of the battle when you are looking for affordable homes.
