In the beginning of this year, TRON founder Justin Sun announced that he was willing to spend one billion on a new investment. The announcement arose amid a period where the cryptocurrency market has been suffering from downturns and doldrums, but Justin remains proactive in continuing to invest.

Now it seems that Justin Sun is interested in investing in blockchain applications – not only this, but also other cryptocurrencies as well. In regard to investing specifically in blockchain apps, that number of investments per company would be $200 million or more. Justin confirmed this month that he is willing to invest in blockchain application companies, and confirmed that they are with in one of the company’s industries.

He expects the market performance to be stronger over the next coming months. A few days ago Justin upgraded his position on BTC and EOS, which still represents a significant level of optimism.

In June there was an announcement by Justin stating that he will be investing more than $2 million in BitTorrent Global Inc (BTT) [TRON’s first cryptocurrency project], but nothing has been announced since then. Also, no information has been made available about other investments. On May 20, 2018 a spokesperson was quoted saying: “We are continuing to seek new investment opportunities. We do not comment on rumors or speculation.”

From the company’s report: “The company has not made any material changes in its operations. In April of this year, BitTorrent Inc announced that it would be changing its name to BitTorrent Inc . The recently announced BTT, with a focus on file sharing for the BitTorrent platform, was not included in this restructuring. In his latest tweet, Justin Sun confirmed that he has been in touch with BitTorrent CEO and said that both companies will work together to “formalize” a long-term partnership.
