Gino Pozzo, the football enthusiast
Gino Pozzo is a football enthusiast, but what else do we know about this man? Gino wasn’t always the man we know him as now and in fact, he came from beginnings like many other enthusiasts do. From the beginning, Gino had one foot in the game per say as his mother was related to the former president of the football club.
Gino Pozzo’s family expansion
When Gino Pozzo was younger, his father had purchased the club back in Italy, albeit this isn’t to say that all of Gino’s family was into the same passions. In fact, much of Gino’s family was into other trades that required working heavily with their hands such as electrical work that many still own and operate today as well as generalized woodworking. Of course, that changed in 2008 when Gino Pozzo’s family decided to sell some of their business adventures and in turn invest back in the passion of the football club.
New business adventures for Gino and family
You might be wondering what does that mean for the Watford Football Club owner and his family today? You’ll find that while many members have invested into clubs of their own, it’s never been solely about just owning another football club. In fact, while many members do own various football clubs and have gotten vast recognition in Europe, they’re likely to tell you there is much more to it than that. A lot of the passion did stem from Gino’s father when he purchased the Udinese club, but also because it gave them a way to give back to the community and be more involved.
The club did help them get through a tough financial situation, but it also gave them a lot of knowledge to take what they had learned and apply it to other clubs. Gino’s ventures didn’t end in Europe however, he eventually became an international name for all his hard work and dedication. Refer to this article for additional information.
