Doug Haynes

Doug HaynesDoug Haynes graduated from the Darden School of Commerce and a mechanical engineering graduate of West Virginia University. In addition to his work with the CIA, he has held positions at GE Plastics and GE Design earlier before he made his way to McKinsey & Company in 1992. He worked with McKinsey in Atlanta and in the New York and helped create the firm’s Basic Supplies, Procedures, and Great Technical businesses. He commanded the Northeast Region for 22 years before retiring. Doug formerly ran Point72 Asset Management. During his four-year tenure, the company outperformed peers, regained its SEC license, launched a venture capital arm, and raised the industry’s most significant single round capital raise. Doug is now Managing Partner and President of Council Advisors, a firm that serves Enterprise Leaders.

Doug Haynes is also a committed board member of The Midpoint for Worldwide Enterprise, a non-profit organization committed to improving global corporate leadership. He is a committed philanthropist who supports issues such as poverty alleviation and veteran care. He is a member of the Cohen Veteran’s Network and Cohen Veteran’s Bioscience organizations’ initial boards of directors. Doug now serves on the Cohen Veteran’s Bioscience Board of Advisors. He is on the boards of the New York-based Robin Hood Foundation and the Georgia-based Camp Southern Ground. He assembles on the panels of numerous technology startups, it included ChainIQ which was a Swiss logistics benefactor; FRISQ, a Swedish fitness info amenities sponsor; Vega Factor, an all-in-one workstation that helps officialdoms and folks shape best performing principles through the knowledge of overall inspiration; and Obsidian Asset Management.

Doug lives in Scarborough, New York, with his wife, Laurice. Laurice the proprietor of the Fountain Inn Bed & Breakfast and a committee member of Rising Starr Equine Rescue, and a commission member and consultant, he has supported institutions such as the Darden Postgraduate Business School, Villanova College, the Canterbury Institute, and the Randolph Macon Academy.creator of T2X Rehabilitation and Occupational Mobility. They have five grown children between them.
