Damien Granderson is a founding partner and chair of Granderson Des Rochers, LLP’s Music Practice Group. He has been practicing law for the last thirteen years and specializes in music production and copyright . Mr. Granderson strongly emphasizes educating his clients about their rights so they can be proactive in protecting themselves and their work.

 

This, while considering the impact that new technology is having on the music industry. The entertainment lawyer recently founded the Music Practice Group at the boutique Granderson Des Rochers, LLP, in New York City. Mr. Granderson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts cum laude.

 

This, from Brown University before pursuing his Juris Doctor at Columbia University School of Law. While attending law school, Damien was an editor for the Columbia Journal of Law & the Arts and served as Vice President & Co-Chair of Columbia’s Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Damien Granderson was also Vice President & Co-Chair of the Music Industry Interest Group. 

 

While a law student, Mr. Granderson was a summer associate at the Bass, Berry & Sims law firm in New York City. In addition to practicing law and advising his clients on their rights. Damien Granderson is a lecturer and adjunct professor at Columbia University School of Law and New York Law School. 

Damien has been an adjunct professor teaching Entertainment & Sports Law and Cinema Studies. He also regularly lectures high school students about the importance of music education on their path to success in life and training musicians from many genres on how to protect their rights through business management practices. Damien Granderson is up to now the most reliable entertainment lawyer currently at practice.
