What I Learned From My 5th Grade Grandson

Over the weekend my Grandson came to visit.  He had homework that he had to complete during his stay, in the subject of science. First thing I learned was the show “Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader” is no Joke.

I then took on the task to learn what he all ready knew. His assignment was about the earth and one part was talking about Constructive Plates vs Destructive Plates.  The definition is as follows:
Constructive plates also known as Conservative plate margins slide together resulting in added or increase into the Earth…such as Mountains forming.  Destructive plates are when two plates collide and then pull apart from each other-tearing things down…as in Earthquakes.

Now you may ask…SO WHAT…bear with me

As I listened to the definitions (or was reminded as I must have learned this in my school years, not so sure it was in fifth grade then) it hit me…this is just like life/relationships/business.

How…you may be asking.

Think about this. If you are a business owner (Let’s say a Home Based Business Owner) are you adding increase into your clients/buyers….or….are you being destructive and tearing things apart and struggling in it.

I have learned in order to succeed in business you have to add increase into what you give to your client/prospect/buyer.  You have to give them more than what they expect and add increase into them.

I have read many inspirational books and a mentor that I have…Joe Schroeder…constantly teaches- you must add increase into people…give them more than they expect…if you want a successful legacy built and you don’t want to start over every 6 months.  He also states as well as all the books on the subject…many try to tear apart…and in the end you are left with less than and struggling to figure out why.

So which are you doing…when you really sit down and think…could this be why your business isn’t where you want it to be?  Are you adding increase into what you do and who you are?

The “Religious Differences” In The Way We Were Raised…WOW

Paul and I had a conversation over the weekend that I wanted to share with you. We were both reading different books and we both had Ahhh haaa moments as we discussed them.

Paul was brought up Catholic and I was Southern Baptist….some combination huh ;D

Anyway, he had always envisioned that when you die…you go for judgment and in his mind as a child it was a trial….and GOD was the judge sitting up above you in his large thrown…looking down at you. Not only that but as he was taught…or how his mind took it…GOD was a Fearful God and would remember each and every time you made a wrong judgment…kept a tally.

I was brought up in a household that was Southern Baptist and I wasn’t really taught that God was fearful…or at least in my mind he wasn’t (of course I was pretty strong willed even as a child)….Remember the song “Jesus Love’s Me This I know”…or “Jesus Loves the little children”.  That is what was implanted in my head.  Even though there were many people in my church that didn’t live by what they preached.  Many were one way at church and totally different people outside…ah but I regress…that is another story ;D

Anyway, different interpretations that we were brought up with…

Another example I was brought up…knowing I could talk directly to God…worship…in a closet if I wanted…while Paul was taught he had to go to a confessional.   Different upbringings TOTALLY….Paul even went to Catholic School for the first few years.

So now you have just a little background of a few differences in what we were taught at a young age.

Now move forward in time to now….

Now with our new beliefs  another saying comes to mind which most of us heard as children…God is everywhere….he sees everything….

This is our interpretation of that CODE if you will…

God is within each and every person…whether they know it or not so with that being said….God is Definitely everywhere and he sees everything….THROUGH US…WITHIN US….God is alive because he lives within each and everyone of us…so therefore he sees everything….experiences everything through us. So what we were told as children was in fact true…however…The Code reveals that he sees everything and is everywhere because he lives within us…pretty cool when you believe that as Truth.  And it works no matter what religion you are or were brought up with.

And when you believe that…you have to think…there is NOTHING any one of us Can’t DO…because we have God within us…making it possible.  The only thing stopping us is not believing that all things are possible.  If you change the way you think…(all things are made in the very beginning by thought) then it only makes sense that if you open your mind up…where you can see that… He does live within you….the world is your playground and what you conceive…you can achieve…

I am not saying we are GOD…but we are godlike made in his own image…and he dwells within each and every person…with that knowledge…when you become still and you can see new things (in your mind…the voice within your head) where do you think that comes from?  I’m not talking about the voice that tells you…you can’t do that…who do you think you are…I’m talking the voice within your head that gives you ideas…thoughts….brilliance.  It is within these thoughts that God is speaking to you…encouraging you…trying to let you know …there is NOTHING YOU  can’t do…when you believe in yourself…

So my conclusion is…start listening to that voice…for us it helped reading and expanding our thoughts…REVEALING the CODE that is within all books (the older sometimes the better)  start looking deeper into the actions of the great people in the world….there is NOTHING you Can’t do when you know you have God within you. Let God within you ENJOY YOUR RIDE ;D

Part 2: “How Many Future Retirees Are Using Our Thoughts Correctly?”

Ahhhh yes we started out with asking the question “How Many Future Retirees Are Using Our Thoughts Correctly?”, but it’s time to move into “Applied Faith.

But what is applied faith, is it something we can touch, feel, and how do we get it, and just how is applied faith related to thoughts…well it’s sort of what water is to dry cement.  With out it the power of something sticking is much less.

Applied faith is nothing more than a state of mind…nothing great has ever been achieved without it.   It’s a state of mind which can only exist when you use an attitude of positivity.  For example, we are going to get a bit deep here and if you’re ready you will totally get it, and if you don’t hopefully it will guide you to other writings.

 

Anyway we are creating this article from a thought and mixing in with it a positive attitude, or applied faith, if you will.  The information contained within it is extremely powerful and should be and in some people will be used as it cracks the doors into your mind to create a very successful life for you.

Another way to think about applied faith would be to focus concentrating upon your thought but not as you hope or wish, because everyone has hundreds if not thousands of these and if this was all that was necessary we would all be abundantly wealthy.  It’s this focused concentration that intensifies or adds rocket fuel to your thoughts.  In doing so this combination causes you to become inspired and motivated.  What happens next is your unbelievable mind takes over and guides into action which is the beginning steps for the achievement of or the materialization, if you will, of your created thought.  Wow kind of deep again…but we are sure you got this one…

Applied faith is nothing more than a state of mind, but it can only be use properly and by properly we mean used for good, if it’s combined with an attitude of positivity.  Applied faith gives us the ability to look in to the future and understand, believe, and know our desire is something which will be in our possession long before that actual thought is created.

Once again we ask you to take some time and look about this great world of ours and you will see, as we have, the world is full of tremendously successful people who recognized this formula of combining our thoughts with applied faith.   Understand this powerful force continually runs 24 hours a day,  seven days a week and whether or not your thoughts are for good or for bad the creative process will move towards the attainment of your thoughts.

Please remember, the most import factor in achieving anything is the beginning of everything and anything past, present, or future was or is thought.  It’s simply not possible to do anything without first bringing the thought clearly into your mind

Before we close,  we wanted to give you yet another example of this unique process of thought and applied faith but this one comes to you from Wallace D. Wattles in his book “The Science of Getting Rich”.  We are paraphrasing what Mr. Wattles said as it was written over 100 years ago…

“There is a thinking process from which all things are created, and in its original state the thought saturates, pierces, and fills all of the interspaces of the Universe.  It is this thought which forms the image within our minds, and we first form things in a thought, and by impressing our thought upon this formless space, we can cause the thing we concentrate upon to be created.”

How deep is that….
