Who Are You…Really?

When you’re on your dying bed…years from now…do you want to remember you stood up for what you believed in and FAUGHT for yourself …and YES even for your own family in search of trying to be their absolute BEST—or will you realize you ran and hid?

It isn’t about how much you made…how big of house you’ve got…they WON’T remember you for that…

What they will remember is how you fought for yourself and them…to stand up and be the BEST …you could possibly be…it is how  they will remember you…with integrity. Standing up for what is right how you treated them and others.

So many people are running scared and doing what others told them they needed to do to fit in…

We have all been told before….Don’t rock the boat…that isn’t what society has told us we need to be….you need to sit down and fit in….

That is down right WRONG….everyone knows deep inside who they really are….unfortunately most never show it…Sure once in a while they will slip out…and for some reason…some one tells them they are odd or weird.

Did you ever stop to realize….SO WHAT.

Think about it…really think….

Look at all the people in the world that had the GUTS to be weird/different…look where they are now.

Everyone…yes everyone that beats to their own drum…and doesn’t let society or the neighbors dictate who they should be….those are the ones that people remember…and secretly admire…because they would love to be who THEY really are…and never knew they could…they let someone else tell them who to be.

The wonderful thing about that is….we can change that.  Easily….when we STAND up for our right to be….who we were meant to be…not by using others as stepping stones to walk over the top of…but by working within our own soul and bringing out who we really are inside…

Don’t let someone else…dictate who you are supposed to be.

Find your BLISS….(your GOD Given talent inside of you) and bring it out…it is never to late….

Our world needs EVERYONE to realize all the bad that is happening within our world…can be changed…starting with YOU…Stand up for who you are…what you believe in

Don’t accept any injustice.

Don’t believe what you see with your eyes, believe what you feel inside…and know as truth. There is a quote that I would like to share from Martin Luther King Jr….

“An injustice anywhere….is an injustice everywhere”

The biggest INJUSTICE I see is somewhere along the way we were told…You Can’t Be You…you have to conform to this or that….and look where it’s gotten us, just maybe somewhere along the way many of us forget to follow our instinct…and if you are like I was you were looking/searching for yourself…your true self.

Follow your gut/instinct no matter what you may think someone will say…or think….Be true to what you believe in…and when you are…your world will change….

Trust your inner voice that tells you how great you are…don’t listen to the one that society has placed there.

What Is This Whole Thing About Baby Boomers?

What is this whole thing about Baby Boomers and what’s with

so many people wanting to break into our field and get us to buy?

Hang on all you wipper-snappers if any one is going to talk with

the Baby Boomer’s clan it should be one who is one

Who better to talk to baby boomers than a fellow baby

boomer…we’re family of sorts…we tend to believe things from

ourselves rather than some young person telling us we need

this or that…

 

First off, what’s with this whole Baby Boomer name…

we’re guessing someone came up with that who’s not one

of us, because we don’t  call ourselves that.

 

Remember back to our parents…as they got older they reminded us and everyone

else, of grandparents…why…well because of the music they listened

to for one:

Lawrence Welk, Dean Martian, Frank Sinatra.

With that being said our generation (The Baby Boomer)

listen to things like:

Doobie Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, Beatles, or

Led Zeppelin doesn’t fit the old mold for grandparents.

 

We are much more hip than previous grandparents…we even have

our own language we use like “Hey Dude” “That’s Cool” and how

many remember “Far Out”…can you picture your grandparent saying

“Hey Dude that’s Far out”, plus we are for the most part really

optimistic and believe that anything is possible.

 

All of this doesn’t mean we don’t love our family as much as our

parents loved our children, nor does it mean we don’t want to retire…

it fact most of us believed we would retire early, but thanks to the

stock and housing market crashes many are loosing that dream and

creating a nightmare of working well into their 70’s…how sad is that?

 

There are ways around it and since we are optimistic and believe anything

is possible when we band together we can do anything we choose to do…and

we totally believe that.

 

It doesn’t matter how many books, magazine articles or speakers you listen

to bottom line is if your looking for the Freedom, and lifestyle of spending

time with our children and more importantly our grandchildren…and want

the money to do it  is there really any better way than to do it with a  Home

Based Business.

Ok… Fine…we get that…but how? Think about this;

we get into a community of us…a community of people

who think like us, talk like us, walk like us and act like us…

 

Is it  possible….YES…in fact it’s very possible…but before we get into explaining

much about it …how does it sound to you…does it sound doable, profitable,

Retirement Dreams Are Slipping Away…

Retirement Dreams  slipping away is something more of us fear this, than most would admit…If your 50 years or older you could be seeing your retirement dreams flaming out…

It’s not all that surprising but in a recent article entitled “New AARP Survey: Retirement Dreams Slipping Away” they talked about how based upon the recent recession it has forced them to put those wonderful retirement dreams on hold, with 44 percent saying they would delay retirement if the economy does not improve.  Of those who planned to delay retirement, 28 percent said they expected to never retire.

Come On Now…How Sad Is This…

Let’s Be Honest… It’s Just straight Up Wrong…

But what are some of the dreams we are having…are we all similar…

Just over half of respondents (52 percent) listed vacation and

travel as activities they would most dream of doing.   Another

16 percent listed a hobby as the interests as their top dream, while

7 percent dreamed first of spending more time with children,

grandchildren or family.

If you fit into this age group and your retirement dreams seem to be

slipping away I would suggest it’s time to look at alternative way and

there are many.  But it takes people supporting people to make

it happen which is exactly what we do. Support people with a

community of like minded people, and similar ages.  We

need to support each other because at our age we should be

retiring instead of wondering not when but if we are going to retire.

 

It does’t have to be this way…nor does it need to be that scary

as it is with too many of us, out there.  Paul and I were in those shoes

not that long ago, but by the grace of God we no longer have those
