Networking Tip; Psychology and Yourself Image.
Everyone has a self Image, many don’t like to talk about it or even deal with it. Sometimes you let others thoughts decide who or what you are.
For Paul, it was many years ago that he dealt with his self image in so many ways. Developed an attitude of someone that was radical and didn’t care – or at least that is what he wanted people to see on the outside. In actuality he cared very deeply what people in general thought about him and he didn’t feel highly of himself so he acted out.
Paul and I met and for me he was very out going (something I had never been at least until you got to know me). And looking back for me it was his bad boy image that interested me. I saw someone that didn’t care what anyone thought, long hair, dark glasses. The type of person NO Parent wants their daughter to connect with. Something drew me to him and it didn’t take long at all to see that he was just like me and had fears and worries, just wanted to be liked/loved. Even though I had been married and was out on my own, my dad didn’t like Paul based on what he looked like. He couldn’t as so many people couldn’t see past the radical image and see the real person.
As we got to know each other better and helped each other get through our struggles of going through a divorce and raising kids and all the ups and downs of finding your way, we came back into people’s lives months later as a couple. During that time, Paul was beginning to believe more in himself and although the attitude could still be there, it was through him believing more in himself, he started to relax and enjoy life more.
He didn’t know it then, however this new found love of himself started opening up his possibilities and started unconsciously
looking for more and more.
Life has a funny way of showing you and opening up new doorways in order for you to become your best self.

So you were a Hippie & Sarcastic too!:-)…..based on these wonderful & warm videos I Can Not Imagine IT!…You must humor us & put up some old pics. so we can get a good Laugh:-)…LOL!
Paul,,,that was my family also…probably only heard ‘I LOVE you’ 5x between Mom & Dad till I was 25(Mom & Dad changed both became huggers & verbal affirmers of LOVE)…In fact Dad said like you did that He thought us kids knew we were loved by the home & food he provided for us…I think this is the way many folks from the post war generation were.
Thx for being so Transparent…I bet it was not ez!
Matt Geib The Great!…wish I was in NJ with you…maybe next time:-)

Well I met you Paul and you seem like a heck of guy to me. But like Matt says, I sure would like to see some of those hippie pictures.
Thank you thank you

29. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
Thanks for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research on this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more clear from this post. I am very glad to see such great information being shared freely out there.
