What scares the hell out of Baby Boomer’s
Yeah…got your attention…do you really know “What scares the hell out of Baby Boomer’s”, well one thing I can all but guarantee you is it’s NOT…DEATH. I recently read an article by Sarah Gilbert which was actually quite interesting and from our perspective very close to home. In her article she references a survey by the Allianz Life Insurance Company where in a poll 61% of older Americans between the ages of 44 and 75 said that running out of money was their biggest fear. Wow how eye opening is that? Not sure about Linda but for me I would agree with that statement…I worry more about not having enough money to retire, or not enough money to last us through retirement. Don’t get me wrong it’s not like we don’t have plenty, but you just never know so the thought is always in the back of one’s mind. Plus, when one says they have plenty I’m reminded of as a child when the food was not overly abundant growing up and you wanted more you were reminded by your parents you were fine you had plenty…just kidding but as you can see plenty is all relevant.
